A little bit slow at the beginning, made me lose my patience many times during the first half. But Jennifer Lawrence is the one that totally carries the film on her shoulders in a spectacular fashion. It simply shows her journey through the world where there is lot of poverty but still she takes care of the entire family single handedly. She is tough (not like the kill bill style tough) and makes the aura around her very believable and sympathetic. The script is pure and perfect. The characters are not showy and yet show true emotions and expressions throughout the film
This is story of courage and the self belief which the characters carry with themselves.The film is made of utmost purity and simplicity, as there is no background music in the film. I'll recommend this film to all those people who wants to to celebrate courage and the determination of a young girl who is hunting down her father to protect her family and their home. And how on earth does she do it??
