It is said that 'illusion is the first of all pleasures'. Inception is one film where you take a coffee mug inside the theater and you do not taste it even once, not because the coffee is bad but because the movie is insanely brilliant. Two years ago Nolan gave us the spectacular 'The dark knight', and with Inception not only he touches the pinnacle of science-fiction cinema but takes it to a astounding new level which is even beyond the imagination of our wildest dreams. Inception is not simply a movie it is a piece of coal which is twisted and bent and swiveled till the time it turns into a priceless platinum chunk. Nolan takes us on a ferociously amazing ride and in the end instead of halting the ride, he smashes the accelerator, and throws away the brake. Even after the movie has ended and the lights are turned on, we just keep on staring at the damn screen, with our mouths open and our minds in the state of an ecstatic delirium.

Dicaprio is impeccable in justifying his role of a dream hacker. He expresses the deepest of emotions with absolute purity. Dicaprio is supported by a talented supporting cast. Marion Cotillard who plays the role of Cobb's dead wife and also plays main antagonist of the film. Ellen Page as Ariadne is student who is hired by Cobb to construct dreamscapes. And it is through her that the audience observe the beautifully layered dreams. Dicaprio and Ellen Page share a startling on screen chemistry, producing the most mind boggling scene not in the film but may be in the entire decade of film history. Gordon-Levitt is perfectly suited for the role of Arthur as Cobb's partner. Tom Hardy plays the role of Eames, a forger, who basically provides one of the most lightest moments in the intense film, is a pleasure to watch.Michael Caine and Ken Watantabe are sharp in the the short amount of role they were provided.

One the best prospect of the movie is that, whatever the actors does in the film is not only new to them but absolutely new and refreshing for the audience. At no instant of the film you feel that you have previously seen that scene, but you are just baffled by the ingeniousness of the amazing screenplay and direction. Nolan worked for 10 years and wrote a 80 page script to bring this film to its rightful destination. There are many spectacular scenes in the film which I am going to cherish for the rest of my life. The scene in which Ellen Page folds the city of Paris like a book is just exhilarating to watch. Another scene in which Gordon-Levitt fights their target's security agents in a gravity free hotel corridor is simply mind blowing. The scene uses minimal amount of C.G's and delivers maximum effect. Music by Hans Zimmer just blends with every scene immaculately and gives us a sensation as if the entire cinema hall has been lifted into the space.
Well in simple terms, in the field of science fiction films, Inception is a religion. Chris Nolan takes innovation through a gateway of originality producing a masterpiece. He manages to keep the viewers mind incarcerated from the first moment of the film. Recently I heard that among the top 25 films of the decade (by IMDb), Nolan is the only director who has 4 films in it, with 'The Dark Knight' reigning at the top spot. Well, that list was revealed before Inception's release. Inception would not only alter the list but also would transform the process of cinema making in a hugely positive direction. So without a doubt after watching this film I can say that my mind is still chained somewhere inside those lucid dreams and has no plans to return back.
I don't think that after saying all this, I need to say that the movie is definitely a MUST WATCH!!!!
This was a great movie!
